DJ, broadcaster, writer and dreamer Zakia Sewell provides the soundtrack to your dreams - playing music to ease the mind, soothe the soul, and open portals to new dimensions…
Zakia serves up two hours of soul-nourishing sounds from all over the world. There’s Aboriginal Australian blues from Kankawa Nagarra, La Muchacha’s empowering Colombian folk sounds, griot music from Uganda, carnatic violins from India and a few slices of Brazilian jazz.
Plus the Kenyan sound artist and experimental ambient musician KMRU provides us with a 30 minute Dreambience mix, taking us on a journey through his dreams exploring places and spaces via field recordings, drones and Lithuanian lullabies.
