DJ, broadcaster, writer and dreamer Zakia Sewell provides the soundtrack to your dreams - playing music to ease the mind, soothe the soul, and open portals to new dimensions…

This week we'll hear from one of Zakia's favourite musicians of all time - the composer, electronic music pioneer and icon Beverly Glenn Copeland. He'll share reflections on dreams, as well as one of his favourite songs of all time - Wichita Lineman - including a bit of a singalong. We'll also hear one of his brand-new tracks - a cover of Marvin Gaye's What's Going On. Inspired by that, Zakia pulls out some of her favourite cover versions of old classics, including Miles Davis' jazzy take on Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, a Slovenian avant-garde take on the Beatles, and a Brazilian spin on Scarborough Fair.

Elsewhere, there'll be new releases from Mansur Brown, Misha Panfilov, Andy Hay and Forever Overhead, and we'll be taken on a magical voyage through the Dreambience by the Turner Prize-winning artist Tai Shani. Tai's latest exhibition is called 'The Spell or The Dream', which explores the question: "Under the spell, we are dreaming—but of what does the dreamer dream?" Her Dreambience mix includes David Lynch, meditation music and unreleased segments of her work, with some particularly personal selections.
