As the days grow shorter and the nights cooler, Zakia warms the soul with handpicked soundscapes that span generations and continents. There’ll be summer of love psychedelia from San Francisco, ethereal goodness from Nairobi, Kenya and a beautiful selection of Maloya music, a traditional music, song, and dance form from Réunion Island.
Plus, we have musings and reflections from Icelandic Musician and Composer Thomas Stankiewicz (AKA Tommasi) on dreams, nature and our effects on the universe. He also shares his own composition in the dreambience mix from a forthcoming release with the London Contemporary Orchestra
