Floating through the night… with Zakia

Zakia guides us through two hours of swirling dreamy selections with a few Welsh picks as a nod to St David’s Day, plus a Dreambience mix from French composer Colleen.

Float through swirling selections with your Dream Time guide Zakia and her bag of musical treats. To mark St David’s Day, there’ll be a few Welsh picks including Queen of the harp Nansi Richards, 70s folk fourpiece Y Gwenwyn, hypnotic bassist Huw Marc Bennett and otherworldly ambience from Aisha Vaughan. There’s also plenty of new releases including from ZENA, Alabaster DePlume, Ms Ray, From 2 and Marisa Anderson, plus some timeless classics including from the likes of Larry Heard.

Plus we’re transported to the Dreambience mix of the ethereal French composer and multi-instrumentalist Colleen, aka Cécile Schott. We’ll hear about her new album Libres antes del final, her dreams and the music that makes her dance horizontally, before we dive into her spacious and mysterious Dreambience mix.
